Federal Sales Account Executive

We have an immediate need for a candidate in Indianapolis, IN.
Results driven sales professional needed with 5+ years of sales experience, successfully selling enterprise IT solutions to large organizations and expertise in account management, sales marketing strategy, and partnership development. Proven ability to interface with different executive levels from the CIO, ACIO, to Program Managers and Engineers. Exceptional communicator with demonstrated success in building relationships and teams focused on solution sales. This individual must demonstrate the ability to exceed multi-million dollar sales quotas.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Present Kinney Group enterprise data center solutions to IT organizations within Defense and Intelligence agencies.
- Manage the complete acquisition and sales cycle for end user customer transactions.
- Identify mission drivers for data center solutions in the areas of enterprise compute, storage, backup/recovery/DR, and application optimization.
- Utilize the Kinney Group selling framework to gain trusted advisor position within assigned accounts.
- Effectively engage sales counterparts at partner manufacturers to drive demand of specific platform solutions with end user agencies.
- Develop effective strategies and tactics for growing assigned sales territory.
- Achieve "beachhead" project wins within new target accounts.
- Drive incremental technical services opportunities tied to Kinney Group data center solutions.
- Become proficient on key technical and mission value propositions of platforms and solutions that Kinney Group represents.
- Participate in industry events to expand contact networks and gain market understanding.
- Guide company efforts for the purpose of ensuring total customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a business or technical field preferred.
- Experience selling in Federal, DoD, Intel (or other) agencies preferred.
- 5+ years experience successfully selling enterprise IT solutions to large organizations.
- Working knowledge of enterprise storage, virtualization, blade computing, and backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with network technology, enterprise data centers, and large database environments.
- High energy level with a passion for achievement and doing it the right way.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and connect them with mission requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation, and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language.
- Ability to coordinate teams of resources and effectively address customer requirements.

- Strong desire to maximize personal earning potential tied to revenue generation and goal attainment.
